What we collect
Accounts are handled by our identity service (Zitadel); we receive your user id, role, and — if you allow it — your email. The service stores what you create on it: your nodes, comments, follows, reading preferences, and your read-time conversations with a node's Curator.
What we don't do
No advertising, no tracking pixels, no selling or sharing of personal data.
Your content is not AI training data
We do not train foundation models on your content, and we do not provide it to anyone else for training. The Curator, digests, and read-time chat work by retrieval over what you published, in service of you and your readers — your words are looked up, not learned from. Retrieval is not training.
Where data lives
Data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure.
Your choices
You can export everything post-social holds about you, or erase it, directly from Settings → Your data (GDPR Art. 20 & 17) — no support ticket needed. Records we must keep for legal or fraud-prevention purposes may be retained as required.
