What post-social is

Post-social is a reading and publishing service operated by humanizer.com LLC, part of the Humanizer Family of Web Services. Contributors publish their own written work as nodes; readers read, comment, and follow. Post-social is not the publisher of contributor work and does not acquire, edit, or assume editorial responsibility for it.

You keep your copyright

Work you publish here belongs to you. Publishing does not transfer your copyright, and by default your work is published under ยฉ all rights reserved. You may optionally choose a Creative Commons license or a CC0 public-domain dedication per work โ€” see Copyright & Licenses.

The operation license you grant us

So the service can function at all, by posting you grant humanizer.com LLC a minimum, non-exclusive license to run the service: to host, store, back up, and display your content, and to index, embed, and process it through the Curator, digest, and read-time reading pipeline โ€” in service of you and the readers you publish to, and for no other purpose. This is plumbing, not a rights grab. The license ends when you delete your content, except for transient backups and copies already lawfully distributed under a license you chose.

We do not train AI models on your content

We do not use your content to train foundation models, ours or anyone else's, and we do not sell or license it to third parties for training. The AI features on post-social โ€” the Curator's comments, digests, and read-time conversation โ€” work by retrieval: they look up your published words to serve you and your readers in the moment. Retrieval is not training, and nothing your Curator reads leaves the service as model weights.

Contributor responsibilities

By publishing, you warrant that you hold the rights to the work (or that it is genuinely in the public domain), that any license choice you make is one you are entitled to make, and that the work does not infringe any third party's rights. Contributors indemnify humanizer.com LLC against claims arising from work they publish.

Publication review

New nodes are reviewed before they appear publicly. We remove content that infringes rights (see Copyright & Licenses) or that is unlawful, and we may suspend accounts that repeatedly violate these terms.

Changes

These terms are a working draft under legal review and will be finalized before broad availability. Material changes will be posted here with a new date.
